ABOUT LIZ
Elizabeth "Liz" Valoon is a writer, actress, and director based in Los Angeles, California. She was born and raised outside Fort Worth, Texas and was the president of her high school theatre department.
She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in Radio-Television-Film and a minor in English Literature. While at UT she wrote and performed on a sketch comedy show, a web series, and an improv troupe. Since moving to Los Angeles, Liz has written for various YouTube and Tik Tok creators, worked on multiple large-scale projects, and produces her own projects.
She continues to write, act, direct, and produce. Liz also co-hosts the comedy podcast "Overthinking It with Liz and Tabitha." Her latest project, a dark comedy short film titled “Joshua”, is set to film in Los Angeles in late March 2024. Her manager is Alex Pelham at 831 Entertainment.
"Overthinking It with Liz and Tabitha" is a comedy ramble podcast hosted by comedy writer Liz Valoon and actress Tabitha Brownstone. The two become friends after taking a sketch writing class together and realized they both have an affinity for overthinking every situation to the extreme.
